Help Uptown Support Louisiana Flood Victims!

As you may have seen in the news lately, catastrophic flooding in Baton Rouge, Louisiana has left an estimated 40,000 homes destroyed with thousands of residents displaced and 13 deceased.  Uptown Realty has started a donation drive to help our neighbors rebuild their community.  There is a lot of work to be done and any support is greatly appreciated.  If you’re able to donate items to the aid relief please bring them to the Uptown office at 2309 Rio Grande, Austin, TX 78705.

If you have the time to spare Baton Rouge is still in need of volunteers on a daily basis.  Russell Cavin, Broker at Uptown Realty made a trip last weekend with his girlfriend, Colette Case, to volunteer with the Salvation Army.  The city is still in full on recovery mode with many community members coming out to show their support and help in anyway possible.  From clearing out flooded homes to organizing donation items to be distributed there’s something for everyone to help with.
